Requirements
At Good Pain, we strictly follow the
Texas Administrative Code Title 25, Part 1, Chapter 229, Subchapter V, Rule §229.406
to ensure the safety and legal protection of all clients under the age of 18.
🔞 Who Qualifies as a Minor?
Anyone between the ages of 13-17 years old.
📋 What You Must Bring:
1.) Minor’s Birth Certificate
• Must be an original or official copy
• Used to verify the relationship between the parent/guardian and the minor
2.) Minor’s Photo ID
Acceptable forms include but are not limited to:
• School ID (Must show clear photo & have minor’s full name)
• Learner’s Permit or Driver’s License
• Passport
3.) Parent or Legal Guardian’s Government-Issued ID
• Must match the name listed on the birth certificate
• If name does not match (Marriage, name change, etc.) we will require proof of change
4.) Parent or Legal Guardian Must Be Present In The Studio During the Entire Procedure
• Clients are only permitted to bring ONE guest to the service areas
• Any minors under the age of 13 are NOT allowed in service areas. They must wait in the front waiting room with an adult—no exceptions
⚠️ Please Note:
• We will not perform any piercings on minors without all the required documentation—no exceptions
• Legal guardians (not biological parents) must also provide court-issued guardianship documents
